The military losses of the Russian Federation are approaching 204 thousand invaders.

During the day, 720 soldiers and mercenaries were liquidated, two tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 20 artillery systems, a MLRS system, 14 vehicles and two special equipment were destroyed. An enemy aircraft and eight UAVs of various types were also shot down. This was reported on May 22 at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 22, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel – about 203 thousand 880 (+720) people liquidated,
- tanks – 3 thousand 785 (+2) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 7 thousand 407 (+9) units,
- artillery systems – 3 thousand 278 (+20) units,
- MLRS – 565 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 327 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 309 (+1) units,
- helicopters – 294 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 2 thousand 830 (+8),
- cruise missiles – 1 thousand 11 (+0),
- ships / boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 6 thousand 129 (+14) units,
- special equipment – 427 (+2).
Recall that on May 21, President of the United States of America Joe Biden said that the losses of Russian invaders in the battles for the city of Bakhmut amounted to 100 thousand military personnel and mercenaries.
