The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 20 UAVs, four missiles and enemy Su-25

Drones and missiles were shot down during a massive attack on Ukraine’s eastern outpost, the city of Dnipro. The plane “landed” in the Kherson region.

On the night of May 22, the Russian army attacked military facilities and infrastructure in the city of Dnipro, using 16 missiles of various types and 20 Shahed-136/131 attack drones . This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In general, the enemy released:

• four Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea area;

• five X-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range bombers from different directions – the Sea of ​​Azov and the Kursk region;

• two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea;

• five anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300 from the occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region;

• 20 Shahed-136/131 Iranian strike drones from south and north direction.

It was noted that the air defense force of the air commands East and South destroyed four X-101 / X-555 cruise missiles and 20 Shahed-type drones.

“Another minus one enemy aircraft! At the end of the day on May 21, a Russian Su-35 fighter suffered a “negative departure” in the territorial waters of Ukraine in the Kherson region! The circumstances of the disposal of Russian aircraft have been identified,” added the military.

Earlier, the head of Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, said that 15 drones and four cruise missiles were shot down in the region during the night. “On arrival” was recorded, eight people were injured.

Remember, on the evening of May 21, the head of the press service of the Kherson Defense Forces, Dmitry Pletenchuk, announced the destruction of the Russian Su-35 aircraft, but then deleted his post on Facebook.
