The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba arrived today in Casablanca in Morocco on a working visit, after which he will leave for the capital, where he will hold talks. This was reported by the publication Le360.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Monday, May 22, will begin negotiations with “senior Moroccan officials,” the newspaper notes.
Dmytro Kuleba’s Moroccan colleague Nasser Burita noted that Morocco’s position in relation to the Russian-Ukrainian “conflict” is based on the principles of maintaining the sovereignty of states and respecting the territorial integrity of member states of U.N.
According to him, Morocco stands for the peaceful settlement of disputes, support for a constructive neighborhood policy, as well as respect for the principles of international law and the UN Charter.
It should be remembered that Kuleba previously said that six African countries have expressed interest in opening Ukrainian diplomatic missions in their territories.
