Throughout the invasion of the Russian Federation, the head of the GUR cried many times over the loss of military personnel.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with journalist Dmitry Komarov admitted that he cried many times throughout the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine.

When asked if he has conditions when he does not want to get up, Budanov replied: “I can’t afford it.”

“But as for the tears, there are several times. Because of some losses,” said the head of GUR.

Budanov noted that returning every meter of temporarily lost territories “is more important than defending it.” The chief intelligence officer clarified that human lives are being discussed.

Recall that earlier Budanov explained his words about “killing Russians everywhere in the world.” Under the phrase about the murders of Russians “everywhere in the world,” the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence has in mind the extermination of war criminals.
