Despite yesterday’s statements, no ship has been inspected to date. That means, 62 vessels remain awaiting entry inspections.
Yury Vaskov, Deputy for the Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, said that the export of Black Sea agricultural products under the grain agreement has not been resumed, despite its extension. He said this in an interview with the Voice of America.
According to Vaskov, Ukraine, the UN and Turkey believe that yesterday the grain agreement was only unblocked and not extended, because on March 17 it was extended for 120 days, and not for 60, as Russia said.
“But (unblocked – ed.) So far in words. Because, despite yesterday’s statements, not a single ship was inspected either yesterday or today. That means, 62 ships remain waiting for entry inspections. None one that all parties have agreed upon, namely Russia,” the official said.
It will be remembered that yesterday, May 17, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov, head of the Ministry of Restoration, said that the “grain agreement” was unlocked, it will extend its validity until July 18.
