The Business Insider published a drawing of the underground part of the “Putin Palace” in Gelendzhik. Two tunnels are equipped there, 40 and 60 m long and 6 m wide. The total area of living space is 603 sq. m.

The palace and underground structures are connected by an elevator descending to a depth of approximately 50 m. The tunnels have everything you need to keep you alive for several weeks.
This tunnel system has everything for safety: fire system, water, sewerage. It is designed so that someone can survive or escape,” said civil engineer Tadeusz Gabrishevsky.
It turned out that the drawings of the “complex of underground structures” had been in the public domain since 2016 on the website of the Metrostil company, which published them as one of the examples of their projects. Putin’s palace is called a “boarding house” there.
According to the schemes, there are fortified rooms and tunnels underground, equipped with ventilation, electricity, water supply, sewerage and communication cables.
Architectural plans show that the tunnels, lined with a thick layer of concrete, are supplied with fresh water for several weeks, ventilation and electrical cables. The characteristics of the cables indicate that a command post can be set up in the bunker, and the system itself is designed not only for the bunker, but for the entire palace, a kind of emergency generator in case of a power outage.
The exits from the tunnels are located just below the palace complex, on a bare rock overlooking the beach. The lower tunnel provides for all types of security, a fire system, water, sewerage and … a moving walkway leading to the exit.
Business Insider notes that the timing of the bunker’s construction (2010s) indicates how long Putin has been developing paranoia about the possibility of a global conflict with the West.
Putin’s palace bunker is distinguished by the fact that it is privately owned and financed from private sources, that is, it is intended not so much to ensure the continuity of the political system, but for the survival of one person.
