In the Donetsk region, near the town of Vremenny Yar, Bakhmut district, today, May 15, the car of the White Angel police unit came under fire.

As a result, five policemen of the crew were injured. They themselves got out of the affected area, they were provided with medical assistance. This was reported on the Facebook page of the National Police of Ukraine.
It is noted that the “White Angel” began with a police unit of the Donetsk region, which evacuated children and entire families from dangerous territories, delivered humanitarian aid and helped people.
The first crew worked on an ambulance and people called it the White Angel. “Now there are more than 20 police crews constantly working near the front lines. They account for thousands of evacuated citizens, including 600 children.
Also, the crews of the White Angels provide medical assistance, hospitalize the wounded victims of the war, evacuate the bodies of the dead and deliver humanitarian aid to places where volunteers cannot enter.
Unfortunately, such selfless and professional work is carried out by law enforcement officers at the risk of their lives, the police say.
