Poland received the first launchers

On Monday, May 15, the first HIMARS launcher will arrive in Poland. After that, the country will receive Abrams and F35 tanks.

Poland on Monday, May 15, will receive the first Himars launcher. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of the country Mariusz Blaszczak.

According to him, the Polish army was built like the American army.

“Tomorrow (Monday, May 15 – ed.) the first HIMARS launcher will be in Poland,” said the Minister of Defense.

He also mentioned that Poland will receive Abrams tanks, and next year the Polish army will have F35 aircraft.

“We will create a strong position for Poland in the international arena. I assure you that if the people entrust us with another term, then in two years we will have the strongest land army in Europe,” said Blaszczak, adding that “state efforts are directed at defense” and “not everyone likes it”.

It was previously reported that the US plans to open a HIMARS training center in Europe. The program is available to NATO countries that have approved the sale of long-range artillery systems.

It will be remembered that on February 8, the United States Department of State approved the possible sale of HIMARS installations, ammunition for them and ATACMS missiles to Poland for a total value of up to $ 10 billion.
