Leonid Pasechnik, the leader of the LPR, invented by the Russians, laid the blame for the explosions in Ukraine. He stated that on the so-called “Republic Day”, the Leninsky district of the city was shelled (the LPR “declared independence” from Ukraine on May 12, 2014 – “Rakurs”).
According to “Public” with reference to local residents, the explosions took place near the plant in the central part of the city. Footage of a plume of black smoke has surfaced on social media.
Ukrainian telegram channels and the media report that the 100th machine-building plant is on fire, on the territory of which the chemical manufacturer Polipak is now located. A video of a burning enterprise, whose roof was practically demolished, appeared on the networks.
This information was also disseminated by the Russian propaganda news agency TASS, citing the former “Ambassador of the Luhansk People’s Republic” in Moscow, Rodion Melnik, adding that there is no information about the victims yet.
The Russians publish footage from the site of the explosions in Lugansk They say that “Ukrainian troops fired two rockets.”
As Artem Lysogor, head of the Lugansk OVA, said, a machine-building plant caught fire in Lugansk.
What the Russians had and repaired there is not hard to guess, – the head of the OVA noted.
It is not yet clear what struck. Russian propagandists cite retired lieutenant colonel of the “LPR people’s militia” Andrei Marochka from the fake LPR. He stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly used missiles with a range of 150 km during the shelling of Lugansk.
