The city of Toretsk, Donetsk region, on Thursday, May 11, was under fire from Russian invaders.

The occupiers’ shells hit a residential area. As of now, nine people are known to have been injured – five men and three women. Among the victims there is a whole family – parents and their son. Houses, outbuildings, garages and a car were also damaged. This was announced by the Office of the Attorney General.
According to the investigation, Russian troops attacked the artillery around 13.00. Two hours later, the occupiers again fired at this settlement from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system.
The prosecutor’s office began a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavel Kirilenko, reported that on May 10, Russian invaders killed three residents of Donbass and wounded two more. The enemy shelled the Aleksandrovskaya and Kurakhovskaya, Chasovoyarskaya, Toretskaya and Limanskaya communities.
Recall that on May 11, the army of the Russian Federation used the Tornado MLRS to shell settlements in the Kharkiv region. The village of Bolshoi Burluk and the city of Volchansk came under shelling. Four people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl. Also, the hit of enemy shells was caused by fire and the destruction of residential buildings.
