Residents cut off mobile communications in Melitopol

A large convoy of Russian military equipment passed through the city in the direction of Kherson, which became one of the reasons for the blocking of communications, Zaporizhia OVA wrote.

In Melitopol, the occupiers killed cellular communications, primarily, due to the redeployment of military equipment. This was announced on May 25 by Zaporizhia OVA.

It was noted that the other day, a large convoy of Russian military equipment passed through the city in the direction of Kherson. In addition, the occupiers set up an additional checkpoint in the city: they set up submachine gunners, military vehicles and selectively inspected cars.

Also, the OVA stressed that the theft continues in the Melitopol region. On the morning of May 24, 15 grain trucks left the city in the direction of Crimea.

“Melitopol traitors are actively helping the invaders. In addition, Melitopol residents have reported that the Russian military has started taxiing their vehicles marked with the letter Z,” the authority in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that within two months of the war, up to 50% of the inhabitants had left Melitopol.

The occupiers are demanding ransom from Melitopol residents who want to leave the city
