The Joint Coordinating Center has not inspected a single vessel under the grain agreement in the past two days. CNN reported this in relation to the Office of the Coordinator of the UN Black Sea Grain Initiative.
It was noted that SKTs “did not conduct inspections yesterday and today.”
The office also added that since the beginning of the month, the number of inspections has decreased.
On the eve of the Russian Federation again refused to register and carry out inspections of ships following the grain corridor to enter the ports of Ukraine.
Recall, March 18, it became known that Ukraine reached an agreement with Turkey and the UN to extend the grain agreement for another 120 days. At the same time, Russia said that the contract was only extended by 60 days.
In April, Moscow published five demands for a Black Sea treaty and threatened not to renew it after May 18.
