The public statements of “Putin’s chef” are not just his personal statements, because the enemy speaks on behalf of his partners, patrons, who allow such statements and such speeches. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
The GUR believes that part of the Russian so-called political, power elite are considering different scenarios, including planning some kind of life after the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, after the defeat in the war with Ukraine. Therefore, these people are already preparing for scenarios that are realistic for Moscow.
I think that this is not even one wing – these are different environments that can compete with each other. Let’s say that Prigogine and Gorkin do not like each other in public, to put it mildly. But their narratives often point to the same problems in the occupying army. Therefore, these are different environments, – Yusov noted and added that in the future the number of such “environments” will only grow.
Recall that on May 5, the founder of the PIK “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the “Wagnerites” would leave Bakhmut on May 10, and explained his decision with shell hunger. Putin’s cook also scolded the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The MOU’s Main Intelligence Directorate said that Prigozhin made a statement about his withdrawal because of his intention to absolve himself of responsibility for the failures. In addition, Ukrainian intelligence does not record any withdrawal of troops now in the Bakhmut area.
