The state company emphasizes that these statements are not true. This was reported today, May 6, in the Energoatom Telegram channel.
As of May 6, 2023, there are no changes in the work of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant captured by Russians. The station does not produce electricity, consuming it from the Ukrainian energy system to meet its own needs.
It is noted that currently at ZNPP:
- five of the six units are in cold shutdown;
- Unit 5 is in a state of hot shutdown.
Recall, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, believes that reports of rashists about the alleged shutdown of all units of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant may indicate the preparation of a provocation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region.
