The 67th annual Eurovision Song Contest kicks off next week. The performances of the performers will traditionally be divided into two semi-finals, and the winners of each stage will then meet in the final. Bookmakers have already named the main contender to win this year’s competition.

The Swedish singer Loreen with the song Tattoo is considered the favorite of the bookmakers – her chances are estimated at 39%, according to the data of the Eurovisionworld website. By the way, Lauryn has already won Eurovision in 2012.
Second place is tipped for Finland, which will be represented by rapper Käeria with the song Cha Cha Cha: his chances of winning are estimated at 24%. Both the Swede and the Finn will compete in the first semi-final.
The third, fourth and fifth places respectively can accommodate La Zarra from France, TVORCHI from last year’s winner and Blanca Paloma from Spain.
Completing the rating of bookmakers are representatives of San Marino, Latvia and Romania.
By the way, in another ranking of bookmakers on the Eurovisionfun website, the placement of forces among the favorites looks very similar. There, the top 5 contenders for victory look like this: Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, France, Spain.
Recall that instead of winning Ukraine last year, Eurovision for security reasons will be held in British Liverpool.
37 countries will take part in the competition: 15 countries will perform in the first semi-final on May 9, 16 countries in the second semi-final on May 11. Six more (Big Five countries, Eurovision organizers Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy and France, as well as last year’s winner Ukraine) qualify for the non-competitive final on May 13.
Belarus and Russia this year again were not allowed to participate due to aggression against Ukraine, while Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro refused themselves for financial reasons.
