The recent increase in the number of accidents on the Russian railway in the areas bordering Ukraine almost certainly led to short-term local interruptions in the movement of the military railway. And new sabotage will only increase the pressure on the Russian military and special services, which are unable to protect the railway. This was announced on May 5 by the British Ministry of Defense, citing its intelligence.

These incidents will increase pressure on Russia’s internal security forces, which are likely to be unable to fully protect Russia’s huge and vulnerable rail network from attack, have almost certainly led to short-term local disruptions in the movement of the Russian military railway, the report said.

At the same time, British intelligence noted that the railway military brigades of Russia are able to quickly restore the message damaged by saboteurs.

Recall that on May 2, in the Bryansk region of Russia, explosions thundered on the railway, after which eight out of 70 cars derailed and overturned. Thus, wagons with oil products and lumber turned over in the area of the Snezhetskaya station.
