The Fund has prepared a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers approving the budget for 2023, which provides for an increase in pension costs.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) has prepared a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the approval of the PFU budget for 2023. It will allow the amount of pension payments to increase by 20.7%. This is stated in the draft posted for discussion on the website of the Federation of Trade Unions (FPU).
PFC’s income, according to this document, will reach UAH 768.9 billion. This is 23.9% more than in 2022 (UAH 620.4 billion).
UAH 692.8 billion will be allocated for pension payments in 2023, which is 20.7% more than in 2022 (UAH 574.2 billion).
UAH 461.5 billion will be spent on pensions from the fund’s own revenues, and UAH 231.3 billion from the state budget.
For the payment of housing benefits and subsidies to citizens, 37.9 billion hryvnias are allocated to pay for housing and communal services.
Recall that in April 2023 the Pension Fund of Ukraine allocated UAH 57.1 billion for pension payments, which is UAH 0.5 billion less than in March – UAH 57.6 billion.
Earlier, the PFC announced an increase in the average pension since the beginning of the year.
