In the future, population alerting technology is planned to be used in other large cities of Ukraine.
This week, the Israeli civilian missile warning system began functioning in Kyiv, The Jerusalem Post reported on May 3, citing Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk.
The system recognizes all types of missiles and shells, and also calculates how long it will take to find the storage.
“This is very important for our civilian and military infrastructure. This is equipment that will allow us to save lives,” the Ukrainian diplomat stressed.
Earlier it was reported that the Israeli missile warning system will be tested first in the capital, and then in other large cities of Ukraine.
