Since the beginning of the mass invasion, Russian troops have destroyed 35 oil depots in Ukraine, causing environmental damage worth UAH 3.3 billion. This was reported on May 3 by the Interfax-Ukraine agency with reference to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
“35 tank farms were destroyed, the material damage to the environment was UAH 3,309,971,049,” said the ministry.
The Ministry of Natural Resources explained that the environment, in particular, is affected by emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and soil pollution.
It will be remembered that on May 3, three enemy drones attacked an oil depot in the Kirovograd region.
