Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine should have a modern air defense system and a security agreement with reliable countries. He said this at the World Economic Forum in Davos on May 23.
“War could be repeated, I’m sure of it. We must make sure that people and businesses are not afraid to thrive in our country. Our job is to make the most modern air defense system, have security agreements with countries that we trust , and so that any chance of an aggressor in future aggression is stopped, ”the head of state said.
Recall, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called on the world to decide what security guarantees they are willing to provide to Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia could not sign security guarantees for Ukraine until the issue of ownership of Crimea and Donbas was resolved.
