The size of the housing subsidy, which will be paid in May for April, will decrease. The reason is the end of the heating season. This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
It is noted that the housing subsidy for utility bills is calculated in April and October, taking into account the duration of the heating season from October 16 to April 15 inclusive.
“This means that in April the subsidy, which will be paid in May, is calculated for all services received, including 15 days for heating services,” said the PFU.
For the non-hot season – for the period from May 1 to September 30 – the Pension Fund of Ukraine will automatically calculate housing subsidies for the majority of citizens who received them during the heating season, provided that data on property status or family composition did not change. In case of changes, subsidy recipients must notify the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund within 30 days.
Recall that in Ukraine in January the financing of subsidies was reduced.
