The lost financial privileges are received by passengers who buy tickets in the compartment cars of the trains.

Ukrzaliznytsia has changed the rules for refunds for purchased tickets. Now, passengers can receive the full cost of a compartment and half the cost of a reserved seat if they return the ticket for a shorter time. This was announced on Sunday, April 30, by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

It is clarified that the money can be refunded if the person returns the ticket at the counter or online no later than six hours before the train departs.

“Until recently, this was only possible in nine hours,” the report said.

The full cost of the compartment ticket will also be refunded, even if the passenger misses the train. Previously, the company paid only 10% of the price.

“You can take advantage of this opportunity for one hour and only at the box office,” the department added.

Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia organized a train from Kyiv to the Romanian city of Iasi, where the base of low-cost airline Wizz Air is located.

It was also reported that before the end of the year, Ukraine will build a Eurotrack from Lvov to Warsaw. This will allow the operation of direct trains between the cities.
