This weapon is being created by engineers from the PARS volunteer design bureau and with the participation of volunteers from the Vidsich public organization. They are developing a small cruise missile with a pulse jet engine. In the future, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to use it to destroy targets and deplete hostile air defense systems. This was reported on April 30 by “Military”.
According to the plan of the engineers, Trembita will be able to hit entire enemies at a depth of 140 km. A domestic missile will be much cheaper than shots from Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Separate parts and assemblies for Trembita can be produced in garage workshops; production is planned to be deployed in different parts of Ukraine.
The declared characteristics of the Trembita indicate that the curb weight is 100 kg, and the weight of the warhead is 20 kg. The missile is capable of reaching speeds of more than 400 km/h, and the maximum and minimum flight altitudes are 2 km and 30 m, respectively.
Recall that the UK wants to buy missiles for Ukraine with a range of up to 300 km. These missiles will have to be launched from land, land and sea with a payload of 20 to 490 kg. The flight range will be from 100 to 300 km.
