Ukrainian and American commanders discussed the supply of ammunition and equipment.
On Sunday, April 30, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny met with Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces in Europe and Commander of US Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli. The commander-in-chief spoke about this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, April 30.
“He spoke in detail about the operational situation along the front line. He described the possible scenarios, threats and requirements for our future actions. We set the goal of preparation in a way to fulfill certain tasks as long as can,” he wrote.
The Ukrainian military noted that at the meeting they discussed the importance of timely and adequate supplies of ammunition and equipment.
Zaluzhny also emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with a wide range of weapons and air defense systems, which will significantly help solve the problematic issues of countering Russian aggression.
“The issues of training our defenders were also discussed with General Cavoli,” added the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, we reported that Valery Zaluzhny and the head of the Office of the President, Andrey Yermak, had a telephone conversation with the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, and National Security Adviser to the President of United States, Jake Sullivan .
