The Egyptian Attorney General’s Office today ordered the preventive detention of a mother accused of quarter to his five-year-old son “intentionally” to eat him, according to local media.
In a statement public service indicated that the woman was imprisoned on charges of “premeditated murder of her five-year-old son with an ax”, which she herself admitted during interrogation at the prosecutor’s office.
According to the police report, the crime took place in the city of Fakus in the north Egyptwhere the defendant “killed her son, dismembered him, and hid the body parts inside the house.”
