Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed his government to set up museums commemorating Russia’s offensive in Ukraine for more than a year, according to instructions posted on the Kremlin’s website.

“Ensure the creation of museums (regional, city, on the basis of educational organizations) dedicated to the events of the special military operation and the exploits of its participants,” the document, dated Wednesday but made public this Thursday, says.
