Poland has tightened security measures on the Russian border in the Kaliningrad region. This is what Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, Polish Radio reports.
“We are strengthening security along the entire Polish-Russian border with the Kaliningrad region in northern Poland. We provide this security and will continue to provide it in the same way as on the Polish-Belarusian border,” he said.
The prime minister added that appropriate physical and electronic security measures will be erected along the entire border from the Russian Federation.
“This is called perimetry. We are developing this perimetry. We will strengthen the presence of border guards and all services. Modern units, modern weapons will be put here. They will ensure the strengthening of the security of the population,” Morawiecki said .
Remember that Poland is building an electronic barrier on the border of the Russian Federation. More than 83 million dollars is being provided for the construction of the barrier, including more than 9 million dollars for strengthening assistance in some sections of the border.
