The flight ban applies to all Army pilots, except those on mission critical missions.
US Army Chief of Staff James Maconville said all US Army aviation flights have been temporarily suspended. The reason is two fatal aviation incidents that happened within a month, writes NBC News.
“At the end of the flights, we will focus on safety protocols and training to ensure our pilots and crew have the knowledge, skills and understanding to safely perform their assigned tasks,” Maconville said.
The flight ban applies to all Army pilots, except those on mission-critical missions, and will remain in place until retraining.
Recall that in the United States during training, helicopters collided, killing nine soldiers.
It was also reported that two small planes collided in the United States, some were killed.
