The incidence of coronavirus in Ukraine has decreased. This was announced on the telethon air on April 21 by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
“Now the incidence has started to decrease… In mid-February, there was a huge increase in the incidence of the coronavirus disease, we reached 20-25 thousand cases per week. Now we have “dropped” to 16 thousand cases per week … Since the beginning of April, we have been celebrating the decrease in the number of coronavirus cases,” said the head of the Ministry of Health.
At the same time, he noted that the picture does not reflect the real state, because fewer people are now being tested for COVID-19.
The head of the Ministry of Health also added that there is a vaccine against the coronavirus and everyone can be vaccinated.
“We already have WHO recommendations that, in principle, the vaccination against the coronavirus will soon become the same as the vaccination against the flu – seasonally, and we need to prepare for this,” said Lyashko.
It will be remembered that in March, the World Health Organization announced a significant decrease in mortality from COVID.
