The ground forces received a new batch of military equipment from the company.
Metinvest donated more than 60 drones and 50 night vision devices with helmets worth UAH 10 million to the ground forces, the company’s press service reported on Sunday, May 22nd.
The military said this help from Metinvest was not the first.
“We are grateful for the help we have received. This assistance will allow us to provide our smallest unit on the battlefield with aerial eyes. It is very important that our enemy has no peace at night. And it is precisely the equipment for night combat. capabilities that are very important for those of us in the forefront, “said Ruslan Sukhov, an official in the department of operations of aviation systems of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Adviser to the head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleg Matvienko noted that Metinvest is expected to provide drones, turnstiles and protective equipment.
Recall that since the beginning of the war, Metinvest has sent more than 1.2 billion hryvnias to help Ukraine and Ukrainians. These are helmets, body armor, thermal imagers and medical equipment, cars and fuel. The company also provides humanitarian aid to the population.
