The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told how the dead soldier was evacuated from under the enemy’s nose. This was announced on April 20 by the MTR press service, which published the corresponding video.
During one of the operations in the south of Ukraine, the operator of the combat group was killed, his wounded comrades were forced to leave the body on the way out. But, leaving the deceased, they understood very well that from now on their main task was to bring back the fighter.
“It is an honor for us to take our dead brothers. No one remains on the battlefield,” said the operator of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who went after the dead soldier.
The place where the soldier’s body was left was under heavy fire from the Russians, and the very attempt to reach this place was a danger. Despite the great danger, Special Operations Forces operators reached their comrade and retrieved his body from under the enemy’s nose.
