Diplomatic representatives will be informed about the content of the next sanctions document on April 21.
On Friday, April 21, the European Commission will hold a closed briefing for EU ambassadors on the content of the new package of sanctions against Russia. This was reported on April 20 by Politico.
It is noted that in such meetings, the EC often informs diplomatic representatives in small groups and they can express the “red lines” of their governments.
The publication recalled that Germany proposed to include measures against the nuclear industry of the Russian Federation in the eleventh package of sanctions.
Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the new anti-Russian restrictions would aim to combat evasion and violations of already introduced measures.
