He pointed out that Vienna is considering various options for helping Ukraine with mine clearance and is already making its humanitarian contribution.
“We quickly responded to the Ukrainian government’s call to provide support for humanitarian demining. Austria is already contributing to demining in Ukraine within the framework of the Support Program for Ukraine. OSCE,” said Schallenberg.
Speaking about the assistance that Austria provides to Ukraine, Schallenberg noted that his country’s special attention is focused on the construction and restoration of medical infrastructure.
Schallenberg added that to this end, Austria signed a framework agreement worth 600 million euros last fall to build and modernize three healthcare facilities.
