Ukraine will take one of the first places on the agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, to be held from May 22 to 26. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine on Saturday.
It was noticed that the Davos Forum was personally held for the first time after a two -year hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The event will be attended by approximately 2 thousand people, including about 50 world leaders. For the first time in many years, the WEF was held without the involvement of Russia.
It also indicates that the list of those invited to the forum does not look as impressive as in previous years. So, neither US President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris will be going to Davos this year. China is also not widely represented.
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will speak at the forum in Davos. It was also reported that among the Ukrainian politicians who will personally attend the event will be Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
