Jesus Mosqueraexplained in the prosecutor’s office, he was detained in Turbowhich is part of the Department of Antioquia (Northwest) in an operation carried out by agents of the Corps of Technical Investigations (CTI), the Colombian Navy and the National Police.

The information added that “his illegal role will be related to logistics, transportation and collection of caches, as well as alerting the movements of the National Navy, exercising maritime control over the Caribbean Sea.”

The detainee was left by order of the prosecutor’s office, while procedures are being carried out for his extradition to USA.

In 2022, the Colombian government signed 190 extradition orders, of which 83 were authorized by Colombian President Gustavo Petro and the remaining 107 by his predecessor, Ivan Duque.
