USA: M777 howitzer for Ukraine ready for shipment

The M777 towed howitzers were secured for transportation to Ukraine by the United States Air Force.

On Saturday, May 21, the U.S. Department of Defense announced their readiness to send 155 mm M777 howitzers pulled into Ukraine, the ministry’s press service reported on Facebook.

The M777 155mm towed howitzers were secured for transportation to Ukraine by the United States Air Force as part of U.S. security assistance.

As part of the new assistance package, the United States will “immediately begin moving” 18 towed 155-millimeter howitzers and 18 tractors for them, as well as three AN / TPQ-36 counter-battery radars.

Earlier today, US President Joe Biden on Saturday, May 21, signed a bill to allocate $ 40 billion to Ukraine.
