On April 19, the German defense concern Rheinmetall planned to hold a presentation of its development of a multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle UAV. This was reported by the newspaper Die Welt.
According to the publication, the development is the first drone created in Germany with remarkable elements.
It was noted that the new development was prepared by specialists of the concern from Germany together with the Israeli company UVision, which specializes in the production of loitering bullets. It will combine the capabilities of the German reconnaissance drone Luna and the Hero-R multicopter, created by the joint company.
The publication reports that up to eight small kamikaze drones with warheads will be placed on the main carrier at the Moon base. The new device will be able to stay in the air for more than 12 hours, and its flight range will reach 100 km.
Earlier it was reported that the German defense concern Rheinmetall AG began delivering to Ukraine automatic reconnaissance systems using UAVs.
