The Polish Ministry of Defense wants to check the number of citizens fit for military service. From today, summonses will be handed out in the neighboring country, and medical boards will also start working there. This does not apply to Ukrainians.
This is reported by the publication Ukrayina.pl.
Notices will be received by:
-
reserve soldiers;
-
persons related to military service (passed military service or training);
-
representatives of certain professions.
The selection will be made by 390 county medical commissions. In total, 230,000 Poles should appear for the medical examination. We are talking not only about the 19-year-old boy, but also the guys born in 1999-2003. In addition, subpoenas can be issued to Polish citizens who were declared temporarily unfit for military service in 2021 and 2022.
Summons will also be given to women born in 1999-2004 who graduate from a higher educational institution in certain specialties in the 2023 academic year.
