Poland and Hungary decided to limit the import of Ukrainian agricultural products, including grain.
Up to 20% of all agricultural products from Ukraine are exported through Poland and Hungary. This was announced on Sunday, April 16, by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky in a telethon.
According to the minister, almost 10% of all exports of Ukraine go through Poland.
“If we talk about Hungary, it is 6% of all agricultural exports,” said Solsky.
Note that Poland has banned the import of grain and food from Ukraine. After that, Hungary also introduced a ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
Later it became known that the Bulgarian authorities were discussing banning the import of Ukrainian grain.
In turn, the European Commission considered unacceptable the unilateral trade decisions of Poland and Hungary, which banned the import of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products.
