On the night of Sunday, April 16, Russian troops attacked Snigirevka, Mykolaiv region, which was liberated from the invaders in November 2022 by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the chairman of the Snigirevsky city military administration, Ivan Kukhta.
“Shelling was recorded in the Snigirevka area. About a dozen explosions were heard. While we are working out the details, official information will come later,” Kukhta wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Kukhta also urged local residents not to attend Easter services for security reasons, as it is not known what the enemy is capable of.
Later, information appeared on social networks that the shelling was done from the S-300.
