The height of the fence is three meters, barbed wire is installed on top. The fence is provided with night video surveillance mode, spotlights and speakers in the most important places. In the next phase, a total of about 75 kilometers of border fences and checkpoints will be built.
In April of this year, the second stage of construction of the Latvian-Belarusian border fence will begin, this time the length will reach 63.9 km.
Recall that in the summer of 2022 in Poland, after five months of work, the construction of a five-meter high fence on the border with Belarus was completed.
