On Friday, April 14, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held separate meetings with the head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, and the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kirill Budanov. The head of state announced this in his evening speech.
“On the day I was in contact with the military, met with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Maliuk, met with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Budanov. This is counter-attack work,” the president said.
Zelensky thanked the military that protects Ukraine.
“Every meter of Ukrainian land should mean for the occupier the inevitable loss of Russia in this war, the inevitable hopelessness for the enemy on the land of Ukraine,” he said.
Recall that Zelensky replaced the head of the Center for Special Operations for Combating Terrorism, Protecting Participants in Criminal Proceedings and Law Enforcement Agencies of the SBU. They became Eugene Khmara.
Also today, the President spoke on the phone with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
