Ukrainians are forced to obtain Russian documents under various pretexts. Public servants are a priority.
The Russian Federation continues to impose “passportization” in the occupied territories of Kherson and Donetsk regions. This was announced on April 14 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was noted that in some settlements of the Kakhovka district of the Kherson region, the occupiers are forcing people to re-register vehicles, the owners of which must have Russian passports.
“Activities to speed up the issuance of Russian passports in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region have intensified. It is known that the departments of the migration service of the Russian Federation work seven days a week. The priority is civil servants and military personnel of the first army,” the report said.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers continue to force passports of the population in the Zaporozhye region. In Tokmok, in order to obtain Russian documents, they ask for a Ukrainian passport, which they say they will return later.
