The National Corruption Prevention Agency has listed the Chinese company Xiaomi Corporation as an international war sponsor. This was reported by the NAPC press service.
“NAPC includes the Chinese corporation Xiaomi Corporation in the list of international sponsors of the war due to the fact that the company not only continued its work in Russia after a massive invasion, but still remains the leader in smartphone sales to the terrorist state,” the report said.
It is noted that from 2018 to the present, this company is the leader in sales in Russia. According to NAPC, while the Russians were conducting massive strikes in Ukraine, Xiaomi increased supplies to Russia by 39% (in the third quarter of 2022).
“Today the company is actively resuming recruitment in its offices in Russia and announced the official start of sales of flagship smartphones. This directly indicates that Xiaomi Corporation is sponsoring the Russian military aggression against Ukraine ,” the NAPC press service reports.
The company will be included in the World-Check database, which maintains records of high-risk individuals and organizations.
