The Russian Foreign Ministry has published “five systemic problems” of the Black Sea agreement and is threatening not to renew the deal after May 18.
The aggressor country Russia intends to use the grain deal in its own interests and put new demands. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, April 13.
Sergey Lavrov’s office again accused Ukraine and the UN of ignoring Russia’s demands. The Russian Foreign Ministry has published “five systemic problems” of the Black Sea agreement and is threatening not to renew the deal after May 18.
In particular, Russia requires:
-
reconnect Rosselkhozbank with SWIFT;
-
to continue exporting machinery, spare parts and services thereof;
-
remove insurance restrictions and ban access to ports;
-
restore the work of the ammonia pipeline Tolyatti-Odessa;
-
unblock foreign assets and accounts of Russian companies related to the production and transportation of food and fertilizers.
Recall, on March 18, it was learned that Ukraine reached an agreement with Turkey and the UN to extend the grain deal for another 120 days. In turn, Russia said it had extended the grain deal for just 60 days.
