German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock will pay an official visit to China from April 13 to 15. Before leaving for China, she said that China’s influence on Russia will have far-reaching consequences for Europe and relations with Beijing, reports of Ukrinform.

The Minister noted that the possibility of ending the Russian war in Ukraine will be one of the main topics for discussion during his visit. Burbock emphasized that China, as a member of the UN Security Council, is responsible for maintaining peace.
The German Foreign Minister noted that Europe may currently perceive China as a partner, competitor and systemic rival, but in which direction the compass needle will wobble depends on the path that China itself chooses.
