Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service has identified more than 10,000 Russian war criminals using a facial recognition system.
Ukraine’s border guards, using the American Clearview AI facial recognition program, have identified more than 10,000 people who participated in war crimes in Russia. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SFSU) reported this on its Telegram channel.
“With the help of the program, the border guards identified more than 10,000 people. These are those who illegally transported children to the Russian Federation; Russian military personnel; collaborators, traitors, etc.,” said the report.
Director of Clearview AI Hoan Ton-That met with Ukrainian border guards. They discussed further cooperation and the use of the company’s programs in the daily work of the State Border Guard Service.
Clearview AI is a facial recognition system that helps border guards identify people involved in crimes.
As previously reported, a Russian sniper shot dead two elderly people, a man and a woman, near the ruins of their home in Bakhmut.
Recall that the attackers brutally killed a captured Ukrainian soldier and recorded it on video.
