The Russian government intends to “deal with the economy and infrastructure” of the occupied Ukrainian regions.
In the Russian Federation, a special headquarters was created to deal with the “restoration of liberated territories” of Ukraine. This was reported by the TASS agency on May 20, citing the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Marat Khusnullin.
“We have created a special headquarters, which includes all interested bodies,” the politician insisted.
According to him, the schedule for setting activities for the restoration of the territories is “live” in nature.
“We have activities for a day, a week, a month, before the New Year,” Khusnullin said.
He added that the headquarters plans to restore roads and destroyed housing, as well as the economy of the affected territories. He stressed that “a number of measures have been prepared to start the financial system faster.”
Earlier it was reported that the Russian invaders illegally removed from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine 500,000 tons of grain, tens of thousands of tons of sunflower oil, hundreds of kilograms of vegetables and agricultural machinery.
In addition, they are blocking the exit of the civilian population in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and are also trying to introduce a ruble zone in the occupied regions.
