An elephant learned a unique skill in Berlin

It is noticed that among its relatives, the animal does not show its unusual skills for them.

The Berlin Zoo is home to an elephant named Pang Fa, who has a unique ability for such animals. They are very fast, faster than humans, peel bananas, writes Gizmodo.

Scientists follow Pang Fa and think he got the trick by observing people.

But the funny thing is that Pang Fa only peels some bananas, others he swallows whole.

In particular, it does not clean completely brown bananas, but yellow ones with brown spots – on the contrary.

The elephant smashed the banana with its trunk, literally shaking the flesh from the skin.

“Pang Fa’s banana peeling is what makes it a unique combination of several factors at once: first, skill, second, the speed with which he opens the banana, third, the individuality and, fourth , imitation of a person, at least” – scientists think.

Recall that the former Pakistani elephant Kaavan, dubbed “the loneliest elephant in the world”, after moving to Cambodia became interested in a woman.

The elephant sued the zoo for captivity
