According to him, border guards have noticed an increase in passenger traffic since March 29. Before this, an average of 80,000 people crossed the border in both directions. There is also no clear predominance of citizens crossing the border leaving or entering.
“Since March 29, passenger traffic began to grow to 90,000, more than 110,000 people per day, especially on Saturday-Sunday. It was clearly recorded on April 1-2, and on April 8-9. people ,” said Demchenko.
In the last two weeks, the influx of citizens has clearly prevailed at the exit. The main category of participants are citizens of Ukraine.
“That is, we know that Ukrainian citizens are currently returning from abroad to spend the Easter holidays in Ukraine.
